Editorial Policy
anonym.legal publishes guidance on data privacy, GDPR, HIPAA, and AI compliance — topics where accuracy matters. This page explains how that content is researched, sourced, reviewed, and corrected, so you can judge how much to trust what you read here.
How we research and source
Every article on privacy, GDPR, HIPAA, and compliance topics is grounded in primary sources: the regulation text, official supervisory-authority guidance, and named industry reports. We cite these sources inline or in a Sources section at the end of each article so readers can verify each claim independently.
Accuracy and expertise
Content is written and reviewed under the direction of our founder, who has 28 years of experience in enterprise IT, software architecture, and data protection — some drafting is AI-assisted, but always under that direction and never published without review. Technical claims about our own products are verified against the shipping implementation, not marketing copy. We distinguish clearly between regulatory fact, vendor capability, and opinion.
Review and update cadence
Privacy and compliance rules change. We review time-sensitive articles when the underlying regulation, enforcement guidance, or our product behavior changes. When an article is substantively revised, its published and modified dates reflect the actual change — we never reset dates cosmetically to appear fresh.
Corrections
If you find an error — a misstated fact, an outdated citation, or a broken claim — tell us and we will correct it. Material corrections are made promptly and, where the change affects the substance of the guidance, noted on the page. We prefer a correct record over a quietly edited one. This process exists because of a real limitation: editorial review — including review of content drafted with AI assistance — reduces error rates but does not guarantee zero errors, so a working corrections process is a necessary safeguard, not a rare exception.
